Dorla J. Batey, 71, of Fennville, died Wednesday, August 4, 2004, at Hospice House of Holland. She was member of Zion Lutheran Church and worked for Fennville True Value for more than 20 years. Surviving are her husband, Howard; children, Michael Batey, and Scott and Maria Batey, all of Fennville, Lynn and Rafael Dominguez of Mount Pleasant; three grandchildren; sister Inez Bailey of Beloit, Wis. Funeral services are l p.m. Saturday at the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville with the Rev. John Westra officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fennville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland or Zion Lutheran Church.
