Doris M. McCracken, age 89, of Pullman, Michigan Passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 27, 2015. Born December 18, 1925 in Pullman, Michigan, she was the daughter of Royal and Helen (Daleiden) Laraway. Doris was a homemaker, and enjoyed working in her yard, garden, and playing the organ, she also enjoyed spending time talking to friends, relatives, and writing long letters. Doris attended the Casco United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James McCracken, son James Royal McCracken and Brother Russel Laraway. Surviving is her daughter Vicki and Bob Lindsey of Pullman, granddaughter Angie and Chris DeYoung of Schoolcraft, MI, granddaughters Grace and Madalyn, brother Royal Babe and Arlene Laraway of Pullman, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. and funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI. Officiating will be Rev. David Meister, and burial will be in the Lee Township cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Pullman V.F.W.
