Donald Edward Norwood Sr. Born July 1, 1948 Died September 28, 2016 Donald Edward Norwood Sr. was preceded in death by his father Edward Oliver Norwood and his Mother Syble Eulane Norwood. He is survived by His Wife Emma Jean Norwood and his 4 children, Donna Gean Pena, Kimberly Rose Holtsclaw, Donald Edward Norwood Jr., and April Lynn Jensen. He had 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Donald was a simple, friendly man who had several careers throughout his life; he was a truck driver, farmer, mechanic, preacher, and always the socialite ready to partake in an adventure. He once ran for Allegan county sheriff. He was never a rich man, but he was rich in spirit and personality. Always willing to give a hand and a smile even to a complete stranger. He was a joker, a poet, a flirt, a friend, a father, a husband, and one hell of a fighter. He fought cancer for 16 years. One of the last things he said was "Cheer up, God loves you". He was loved by many and he will be missed always. Eternal rest grant unto his soul O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
