Donald Harris Hutchins, 76, of Glenn, died Monday, April 16, 2007, at his home. Born in Glenn, he was retired and had been postmaster in Glenn from l953 to l985. He was a member of Glenn United Methodist Church and the National Association of Postmasters of the U.S.A. Surviving are his wife, Helen; children, John and Greta Hutchins, and Michael Hutchins, all of Glenn; three grandchildren; a brother, Haldon "Duke" and Barbara Hutchins of Glenn; and a sister-in-law, Louise Hutchins of Glenn. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce. Services are ll:00 a.m. Friday at Glenn United Methodist Church with the Revs. Stephen Small and Jean Smith officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main Street, Fennville. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland or Glenn United Methodist Church.
