Donald R. Holton, age 66, of Covert, MI formally of Fennville, MI passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at his home. Born September 3, 1950 in Allegan, MI, he was the son of Cecil and Francis (Shultz) Holton. Donald proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp. He worked in various roles for Cornerstone Ag Enterprises, including being the plant manager of Blueberry Valley for many years. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and a brother. Surviving are his children; son Matthew and Julie Holton of Lindenhurst, IL, son Marc and Maria Holton of Grand Junction, MI, son Micheal Holton also of Grand Junction, and daughter Melissa Mears-Jankowiak of Holland, MI; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Donald also leaves behind two sisters, Sandy Gant of Fennville and Virginia Eastman of California, a twin brother Ronald Holton of Holland and life partner Randee Holton of Fennville. At Donald's request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26 at 1:00 pm at the Bravo Church located at 5587 113th Ave, Fennville, MI 49408.
