Donald L. Crane, age 73, of Fennville, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Holland Hospital. Born February 16, 1939 in Bay City, Michigan, he was the son of Harold and Alma (Kolb) Crane Sr. Don lived in the Bay City area most of his life, working in the Bowling business, and as a professional bowler for many years. He married his wife Margaret on Sept. 13, 1986 in Bay City, MI. Then in 1991 Don and Margaret moved to the Fennville area, and bought Lakeview Lanes, in Douglas, MI, they owned,operated, and enjoyed many good times, selling the business in 2006. Surviving is his wife Margaret, son Donald L. Crane II and his wife Kelly of Fennville, grandchildren; Cameron Crane, and Kaytlyn and Nick Walkley, great-granddaughter Rayn Marie Walkley, mother Alma Crane of Manistee, MI, brothers Gary Crane of Bay City, Robert Crane of Muskegon, Fred Osborn of Wyoming, MI sister Janet Bulock of Manistee, step children Dian Latora, Cathy Haight, James Covieo, Richard Covieo, Larry Covieo, Gary, Covieo, Pam McDonald, and Shiela Eigner. Don was preceded in death by his father Harold Crane Sr. one brother Harold Crane Jr. and two step sons Robert Watson and Tony Watson. Visitation will be at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W.
