Diana M. (Carlson) Kark, 89, of South Haven, passed away on August 12, 2024 at Corewell Health in Grand Rapids.

Diana was born on September 6, 1934 in Bismarck, N.D. to Julian and Ida (Schnell) Carlson. When Diana was very young, she and her family moved to California where she was raised and graduated high school. She married Donald Kark of South Haven on October 29, 1954. She lived in Europe for a few years while Don was in the Air Force, and then they moved to South Haven in the early 1960s along with their three children.

Diana was a homemaker who loved to bake and spend time with her family. She enjoyed going shopping with her daughters, attending family gatherings, and helping out with the annual Church Bazaar at the Casco United Methodist Church.

She was an accomplished crafter who was interested in and could master any new hobby. She made all of her daughters' doll clothes when they were young, loved to crochet, and made beautiful handmade embroidered cards.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Don.

She is survived by three children - Donald (Becky) Kark, Renee (Rich) Wilkinson, and Maxine (Ron) Ridley, all of South Haven; four grandchildren - Brian (Rachel) Ridley, Robin (Mark) Lash, Travis Wilkinson, and Tara Wilkinson; six great-grandchildren; two siblings - Carol Riendeau and Clint Carlson; several brothers- and sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors.

A visitation and memorial service will be held at Casco United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 28th starting at 2pm. with a reception to follow the service. The family suggests donations be made to the Casco United Methodist Church.
