Denise Joy DeMond, 44, of Fennville, MI passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at her home. Born November 19, 1975 in Holland, MI, she was the daughter of Susan Ruth Larabel and Edwin Dean (Debbie) Laarman. Denise's naturally caring nature helped her to excel while working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Golden Orchards and Resthaven. She possessed a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone as long as she was able. Denise was a talented artist and especially loved sewing and drawing. Being with her family and taking care of them was always her highest priority and there weren't many places she would rather be than with everyone at the family cottage. The greatest joy that Denise experienced, however, came from being a mother. Her children were the light of her life and her whole world. She will be missed dearly by family and friends alike. In addition to her parents, Denise is survived by her children, Danielle (Kyle) Langworthy and their son, Ezra, Kaleb DeMond and Jayden DeMond and their father, Nick DeMond; her siblings, Rebecca Laarman, Carrie (Justin) Rounds and Tyler (Shelby) Laarman; many nieces and nephews; and her very best friend, Peggy Westfield. She was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Laarman in 2006. A graveside funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Douglas Cemetery.
