Delois Nation, age 68, of Grand Junction, Michigan, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Born September 16, 1940 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Edward and Mary Lou (Okane) Wiggins. Delois was a retired nurse's aid, she attended the Lacota General Baptist Church, she loved board games, word puzzles, riding her golf cart and playing with her two loyal dogs Jade and Star. Delois was preceded in death by two sons Billy and Robert Acklin, grandson David Edgerton, her parents, one brother Harvey Wiggins and one sister Barbara Curry. Surviving are her daughters Cleasia and Woodford Kohler and Susan Witte both of Grand Junction. Five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters Willa and Gary Hamlett of Guin, Alabama, and Francis Long of Pullman, brother Alton Leatch, of Grand Junction, long time companion Richard McKay of Grand Junction, and one sister-in-law Ellen Wiggins of Mississippi. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., with funeral services 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 all at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St. in Fennville.
