Dean Wark Dornan, age 70, of Douglas, MI, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at his home. Born August 4, 1938 in Holland, MI, he was the son of Adrian Dornan and Grace Wark Dornan. He was a 1964 graduate of Michigan State University and also attended the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Dean worked in Industrial Sales retiring from UniRoyal Inc. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Saugatuck, and the MSU Alumni Association. Surviving is his wife Myrna R. Dornan, daughters; Barbara Dornan and Jeremy Schemm of Dearborn, MI, and Cathy and Charles Rupert of Portage, MI, grandchildren, Cameron and Olivia Schemm and Carter Rupert. Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the First Congregational Church 296 Hoffman St. Saugatuck, MI, with Rev. Liam Battjes officiating, burial will be in Douglas Cemetery.
