David John Walton, age 76 of Pullman, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Holland Hospital. Born January 2, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, David was a US Army veteran, and married his wife Janice D. Lung on November 18, 1961. He worked as a pipe fitter and a truck driver for many years. David has lived in the Pullman area for the past 26 years coming from Taylor, MI. Surviving is his wife Janice Walton of Pullman, children Michael and Cindy Walton of Hamilton, Dale Walton of Hopkins, and Laurie and Mark Baareman of Hamilton, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother Gene and Beverly Walton of Arizona, and one sister Betty Garis of Livonia, MI. Visitation will be Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, Michigan.
