David Hollis Murray, age 79, of Dowagiac, MI passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Grace of Douglas in Douglas, MI. Born July 16, 1937 in Rockford, MI, he was the son of Hollis and Elizabeth (Blu) Murray. David proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He worked as a truck driver for many different trucking companies in S.W. Michigan. In his free time, David enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting; and was a member of the V.F.W. He is survived by his children; son Arik W. Murray of Grand Rapids, MI; daughter Candace L. Murray of Fennville, MI; step-son Ronald Hastidt of Fennville; daughter RaiAnn Miller of North Carolina; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. David also leaves behind his brothers, Robert and Marilyn Murray of Hudsonville, MI, Ronald and Sharon Murray, and Donald and Reggie Murray; sisters, Judy and Alberta "Bunny".
