David James Duesterberg, age 47 of Fennville, Michigan, passed away at his home, on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Born September 23, 1969 in Vincennes, IN, he was the son of Jerry and Judith (Yarbrough) Duesterberg. David lived in the Fennville area most of his life, and worked as a painter. Family was everything to David and he enjoyed spending time with everyone. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, all sports, and spending time outside. Surviving is his wife Michele (Garza) Duesterberg, children; Nicole and Tyler Schriemer, Tyler and Brooke Garza, Marcel and Joshua, Domineek Drew, grandchildren; Hayden, Senaida, Lincoln, David, sisters; Lori and Kevin Sluis, Shelly Walli, brother Doug Duesterberg, father-in-law Max Garza, mother-in-law Elva Garza, brother-in-laws Max and Sonia Garza, Randy Garza, also; nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Monday, May 8, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, with funeral services being held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI with Pastor Mela Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be in the Fennville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to his family.
