Darlene Landa (Gable) Walaszewski, 79 of Fennville MI passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Holland Hospital. Born on May 2, 1941 in Michigan, she was the daughter of Thomas and Vida (Greeno) Gable. On December 17, 1960, Darlene married Leonard Walter Walaszewski. Together they shared almost 41 years together prior to his death in 2001. She attended Fennville United Methodist Church and had retired from Fennville Public School where she worked in the lunch service program. Darlene loved spending time with her Great Grandchildren, playing bingo at church, watching the birds she fed outside her window and watching her all-time favorite TV show Gunsmoke. Darlene is survived by her daughters, Tammy Knight and Kathy Kellum. Darlene was a proud Grandmother to her four Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. The family plans to have a private memorial. In lieu of flowers the family is asking memorial contributions to be made to the Fennville United Methodist Church, 5849 124th.
