Daniel Jason Ciesla, 41 of South Haven, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth after dealing with heart condition issues for many years. Born January 13, 1980 in Holland, Michigan, he was the son of Daniel J. Ciesla and the late Camille (Santore) Ciesla as well as the father of Savannah and Caden. Daniel, known to most as Jason, was a hard worker and seemed to find no time for rest and relaxation. If he wasn't working on the family farm, he was off helping other farmers. He had a strong work ethic, most recently working in construction for the H & M Demolition Company in Holland, Michigan. Jason loved his family and appreciated all of their support, especially in the last seven years as he battled his heart condition. He was a loving son, brother and father. When he did take any time for himself, it was spent with his family. His presence in their lives is already felt so deeply. Daniel Jason is survived by his father, Daniel; brother, Darren Ciesla; and his children, Savannah and Caden. He was preceded in death by his mother, Camille. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Chappell Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
