Cynthia Lee Petty, 62, of Holland, MI passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Metro Health University of Michigan Hospital. Born February 23, 1957 in Marysville, CA, she was the daughter of the late Willard Berry and Charlotte (Webster) Needham. Cynthia recently retired from Magna Glass and was fully enjoying her newfound free time. She loved her nieces and nephews and their children as though they were her own and had been there for each of their births. Cynthia is survived by her sister, Jackie Cleary; her nieces and nephews, Jayme Cleary, Mahala (Juan) Marquez, Amber (Donte) Williams, Zachary (Stephanie) Berry and James (Gabby) Willis, Jr.; great-nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Garcia, Jose Santiago, Guillermo Santiago, Jr., Celeste Marquez, Isabella Marquez, Malia Marquez, Keyshia Marquez, Kate-Lynn Marquez, Elena Tinajero, Charlotte Almazan, Segundo Almazan, III, and James Wayland Willis, III who is due to arrive in September; and her faithful chihuahua companion, Lexcee. The family will receive friends at Chappell Funeral Home on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. A celebration of Cynthia's life will begin at 1:00 PM and burial will follow at Lee Township Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Service Details.
