Cynthia L. Bale, age 101 of Douglas, formerly of Fennville died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Grace of Douglas. Born June 16, 1911 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of Edwin and Anna (Wolfgang) Richards. A long time Hutchins Lake resident, Cynthia worked for many companys, retiring from GE in Holland in 1972. She is survived by her sons Clare Bale of Fennville, and Richard and Judy Bale of Douglas, eight grandchildren ten great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by one brother Rex Richards and two sisters Kathryn Bale and Jean Sauer. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, with Ms. Marcia Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the Fennville cemetery.
