Cara A. Sargent, 86, of Fennville, died Sunday, June 5, 2005, at her home. Born in Ganges Township, she retired after 43 years of employment with Michigan Fruit Canners. She was a member of Ganges Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1977. Surviving are her children, William and Arlene Sargent of Fennville, Howard and Mary Sargent of Willis, Texas, Marjorie and Vernon Hjelden of Elk Grove, Calif., Linda Sargent and William Morgan of Damascus, Ark., and Nancy and Larry Figgins of Centreville Va.; l2 grandchildren, l8 great grand-children and one great-great grandson. Services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Marcia Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery in Ganges Township. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland or the American Heart Association.
