Cody Lee Valentine, age 18, of Fennville, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 from injuries he received in an auto accident. Born March 19, 1997 in Holland, Michigan, he lived in Fennville all his life. Cody was a 2015 graduate of Fennville High School, and was planning on attending Lake Michigan College in the fall. As a high school student Cody enjoyed playing football, golf, and being on the robotics team. He also worked at Earl's Berry Farm for the past 3 years. Surviving is his parents Martha and Jason Ras of Fennville, maternal grandparents Frank and Ida Valentine of Fennville, paternal grandparents Lee and Kris Ras of Hamilton, uncles Huey Valentine and Eric and Samantha Valentine, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main Fennville, MI. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Corner Bible Church 4001 M-89 Allegan, Michigan, with Pastor Chip Nightingale officiating. Burial will be in the Pearl Cemetery.
