Obituary

Clinton Shepherd, age 72, of Fennville, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in Holland, MI. Born July 30, 1937, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, he was the son of James and Lola Shepherd. A US Air Force veteran, Clinton married Patricia Ann Carroll on November 8, 1958. Clinton worked at High Q manufacturing for many years, retiring from Edmar Manufacturing in Holland. Surviving is his wife Patricia, children; Chris and Connie Shepherd of Holland, David Shepherd of Zeeland, Tonya and Andy Johnson of Holland, Amie Vernon of Holland, and Carol and Steve Fitzgerald of Zeeland, 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, brothers; Claude and Sharon Shepherd of Ohio, and Kanawha and Vicki Shepherd of Rives Junction, MI, sisters; Cleo and Larry Cowgill of Rives Junction, MI, Marie Shepherd of Ohio, Lonnie Swope of Leslie, MI and Bonnie and Richard Sackman of Rives Junction, MI, brother-in-laws; Richard and Karen Carroll of Parma, MI, Robert and Sharlene Carroll of Michigan Center, MI, Tom Carroll of Hanover Horton, MI, sister-in-laws; Sue and Myron Vandenburgh of Parma, MI, Rosalie Dion of Burlington, WI, Mary and Mick England of Springport, MI, and Edna Cogswell of Jackson, MI. Clinton was preceded in death by one grandson Robert Vernon, two brothers Clyde and Charles, and two sisters Catherine Prater and Mabel Hicks. Visitation will be Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, with Rev.
