Claude Wayne Grigg

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend.

November 4th, 1945 – November 5th, 2024

Claude Wayne Grigg, 79, of Fennville, Michigan passed away on November 5th, 2024, in the comfort of his home.

Wayne was an owner and operator truck driver for Hascall Steel for 20 plus years. After his retirement he continued to do what he loved, and he drove for Generations and volunteered at the local hospitals.

He took great pride in raising his kids, to be good, loving and kind, to work hard and to be there for each other and for family. He loved them more than anything in this world and devoted himself to raising them.

Our dad will be dearly missed by family and friends. His family was his pride and joy and his greatest role in his life was being a Grandpa. He showed unconditional love to his family and always made sure to say "I Love You" more than twice, to be careful, and to not take any wooden nickels. He was always a person you could count on and didn't hesitate to help anyone in need.

Wayne was not "just Wayne" he was a kind compassionate man who touched many lives. He loved making people smile. Wayne never met a stranger and was a social butterfly who enjoyed the company of others.

We take comfort in knowing that one day we will be reunited.

He is survived by his sister Sharon Meduna; children Tammy Polk, Renee Hartman (Bill), George Gounaris (Rosie), Christine Hardy, William Hardy (Christy), Samantha Hardy, Anthony Hardy (Jaime); multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and his beloved dog Penelope.

He is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Grigg; father Charles Grigg; mother, Dorothy Grigg; and daughters Rachael and Rebecca Hardy.

At Wayne's request, there will be no services.
