Clare Arnold Bale, age 86 of Ganges, Michigan, passed away Saturday, April 9,2022 at his home with his family by his side. Clare was a founding member of the Fennville Gun Club and an avid hunter. He was a truck driver his whole life. He was born on February 6, 1936 in Douglas Michigan, he was the son of Walter and Cynthia (Richards) Bale. Clare graduated from Fennville High School and married his high school sweetheart Sandra (Hirner) Bale, they had 4 children and were married 56 years. Sandra preceded him in death in 2012. Surviving are his four children ; Debbie (Terry) Clearwater; Susan DePree; Ed (Laura) Bale; Doug (Sandra) Bale. He had eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He had five siblings, two of which proceeded him in death. He had several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is survived by Shirley Steanburg a close friend. At his request cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Holland or the Fennville Rod and Gun Club.
