Clara Mae Kollar, age 84 of Fennville, Michigan passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Holland Hospital. Born April 2, 1931 in Fennville, she was the daughter of Louie and Clausia (Lappinga) Kluck. Clara was a graduate of Fennville High School and Western Michigan University, and then taught school for the Fennville Public Schools for 37 years. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and the Sunshine club both of Fennville. Clara was preceded in death by her husband John Kollar on August 14, 2012, she is survived by her children; Linda and John Koerner of Joliet, IL, Joseph and Geann Kollar of Talent, OR, Edbert and Marilyn Kollar of Holland, MI, Marilyn Kollar of Fennville, Alvin and Vicky Kollar of Hudsonville, MI, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sisters; Marjorie Marr of Sparks, NV, Katherine Jackson, Lucille and John Kiss, and Helen and Skip Bale all of Fennville. Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI. Officiating will be Ms. Marcia Tucker, and burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery Ganges Township. Memorial donations may be made to the Fennville Area Fire Department 599 W.
