Charles Lee Veatch, age 85 of Fennville passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Hospice House in Holland. Born November 7, 1927 in Howard, Ohio he was the son of Walter and Mae (Fisher) Veatch. Charles was a US Army Veteran, and a truck driver most of his life. Surviving is his son William Veatch of Waterford, MI, granddaughter Amy Prescott of Walled Lake, MI, long time companion Joan Billings of Fennville and sister Charlene Wood of Flushing, MI. At his request cremation has taken place, and his cremains will be buried at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Holland.
