Cameron Brooks Maroney, 34 of Holland, Michigan, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at Spectrum Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Born March 26, 1988 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he was the son of Karen (Holton) and Michael Whitehouse, and the husband of Helen (Tarantino) Maroney.  Cameron was proud to be a headline cook for Everyday People Café, where he was fortunate to work with some great chefs.  He was also a very private person and wasn't comfortable sharing too much of himself with the world, but he was a loving husband, father and brother and his absence from their lives is already felt.  His memory will live on through them.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 15 years, Helen; his mother, Karen (Michael) Whitehouse; his daughter, Hayden Maroney; his son, Morrison Maroney; his siblings, Brynn Billings, Erin Maroney; his mother- and father-in-law, Dave and Lynette Tarantino; his sister-in-law, Katie Tarantino; three nieces, Ireland, Alex and Cassidy; two nephews, Conor and Elliott; and great-nephew, Finley.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Everyday People Cafe where memories and stories may be shared.  Memorial contributions may be made in Cameron's name to the Harbor Humane Society, 14345 Bagley St, West Olive, MI 49460.
