Burnette Elenbaas, age 86 of Fennville, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Holland Community Hospital. Born June 4, 1923 in Allegan County, she was the daughter of Nick and Jennie (Schra) Boremen. Burnette was a retired secretary and a member of the Community Church Douglas. Her husband Bud Elenbaas preceded her in death, Dec. 26, 1989. Surviving are her children Scott and Hairett Elenbaas of Wisconsin, and Rick and Karen Elenbaas of Fennville, grandchildren Tami Danze and Kevin Elenbaas and one sister Joyce Boreman. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the Community Church Douglas, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. till service time, officiating will be Rev. Dennis J.
