Bulah Lorine Meggs, 90 of Fennville, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at her home. Lorine (as she was known to most) was born on December 17, 1929 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late Albert and Martha (Higgs) Dill. She lived a faithful Christian life and was a long-time member of Living Waters Church in Fennville. She spent her working career as a dedicated custodian for the Fennville Public School System and took great satisfaction in serving them. Lorine enjoyed taking care of other people and she took great pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her true compassion and loving nature will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth Meggs; her children, Mitchell Lacy, Michael (Teresa) Lacy, Melvin (Sheila) Lacy and Lorie (Todd) Schut; 11 grandchildren, Michelle, Tammy, Steve, Lance, Jennifer, Bryan, Stephanie, Ashley, Brittany, Seth and Justin; and many great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Lorine is preceded in death by her first husband of 50 years, Voyd Lacy; her son, Larry Lacy; daughter-in-law, Joan Lacy; two grandsons, Matthew Lacy and Jonathan Lacy; and her five siblings, Albert, Bertha, Nelsie, Elsie and Eula. In accordance with recent regulations regarding the pandemic, and in an effort to maintain the health and safety of loved ones, Lorine will be privately laid to rest at Fennville Cemetery.
