Brian D. Corey, age 55, of Saline, MI passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at his residence following a brief struggle with cancer. Born June 5, 1961 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of Dean and Barbara (Hokanson) Corey. Brian was a graduate of Ferris State University and worked as a shipping clerk for Control Gaging in Ann Arbor, MI. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Saline, and the Boy Scouts of America achieving Eagle Scout. Brian is survived by his wife of 31 years Cheryl (Scovill) Corey of Saline; daughter Amanda Corey of Grand Rapids, MI, Beloved Airedale Lucy, sister Cheryl Bradetich of Hendersonville, NC, and mother and Father-in-law Richard and Marilyn Scovill of Fennville, Michigan. A memorial service will be at 5:00pm, on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church of Saline 143 E. Michigan Ave. Saline, MI with Rev. Jaco Bester officiating.
