Bob S. Marble, age 86, died at his home following an illness on March 5, 2010. He was born on September 22, 1923 in Hillsdale County, MI, to Rex & Della (Moulton) Marble. On March 21, 1942, he married Olive Jane Laney. He retired from Daisy Parts in Hillsdale, where he had worked as a toolmaker for over 20 years. His family includes his wife, Jane Marble; his daughters and their husbands: Sharon & Rev. Thomas Potter of Virginia, Charlotte & Rev. Dan Bunge of Iowa, and Melinda & David Scholten of Fennville; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Doris Evelyn Kelley. Bob was a member of the Emmaus Road Bible Church, 4001 M-89, Allegan, MI, where his memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, at 11 AM, officiated by Reverend Dave Nightingale. A graveside service will be held at 4 PM at Frontier Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice. The family is being cared for by the Chappell Funeral Home, Fennville, MI.
