Betty Ann Weeks, 71, of Fennville, MI passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Allegan County Medical Care Community. Born January 29, 1946 in Douglas, MI, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Lawrence Smith and Anna Irene (King) Smith. Mrs. Weeks joins her husband, the late Jacob R. Weeks, who preceded her in death on June 30, 2016. She was a faithful member of Bravo Christian Reformed Church and also attended Bridgeport Church in Pullman. Mrs. Weeks had worked many years as a bus driver for ACRDC and in the deli at Family Fare. She enjoyed collecting cookie jars and anything with hummingbirds. Above all else, Mrs. Weeks loved her family. She was affectionately known as "Mom" or "Aunt Betty" to many. Mrs. Weeks is survived by her children, Vickie (Jerry) Brinks, Michael (Annetta) Moss, Cleamond Moss, Alexandria Weeks, Josh Weeks, Suntira Weeks, Cheryl King, Kimberly Carey, Tommy (Michelle) Brooks, Michelle (J.J.) Soper and Justin (Tabitha) Weeks; siblings, Clayton Smith, Gene (Jan) Smith, Rosemary (J.L.) Todd, Nancy Leffler, Lilly (David) Wells and Judy Walker; fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to list. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Ariel Scholze. The family will receive friends at Chappell Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Bravo Christian Reformed Church at 1:00 PM with visitation for one hour prior. Burial will follow in Fennville Cemetery.
