Fountain July 9, 1946 - November 24, 2020 On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, loving wife and mother, Betty Fountain, age 74 of Fennville, passed away. She was born July 9, 1946 in Big Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond and Beulah (Cain) Cornell. She worked as a CNA for many years and enjoyed taking care of others. She also enjoyed playing cards, singing, playing the piano, and especially spending time with family and friends. She married Ed Fountain on July 15, 1967, who survives. Also surviving are two of her children, Roy and Glenn (Karla) Fountain. Betty was preceded in death by her sons, Baby Fountain and Timothy Fountain. Also surviving are her brothers: Frank (Mary), John (and special friend, Maryanne), Jim (Cindy), Larry (Ann) and Dennis (Diane), along with her sister, Diana (Albert) Bigelow; her 5 grandchildren, Andrew (Bethany), Jessica (Ben) Abbott, Jordan, Gabe and Jackie Fountain; and her 4 great grandchildren, Katelynn, Isabella, Sophia and Joseph; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Beulah Cornell; sisters, Patty Ann, Marion Bigelow, and Frances Funk; her brother Dave; two brothers-in-law, Mike Braden and Donald (Buck) Funk; along with her sisters-in-law, Donna and Treva. he was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Beulah Cornell; sisters, Patty Ann, Marion Bigelow, and Frances Funk; her brother Dave; two brothers-in-law, Mike Braden and Donald (Buck) Funk; along with her sisters-in-law, Donna and Treva. The family will greet family and friends from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Ganges Baptist Church (6577 122nd Ave, Fennville, MI 49408) where the memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM, Rev. Bill Dodge officiating with Rev. Tom Case assisting.
