Bernice L. Cosgrove, 90 of Allegan, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at Allegan General Hospital. A native of Fenville, she was a nurse's aide at Allegan General Hospital until retirement in 1982. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Kermit, and three sons Roger, Roland, and Roy preceded her in death. Surviving are her children, David Cosgrove of Chicago, and Christine and Donald Jurkas of Allegan; sisters, Mildred Wearne of Allegan and Lorraine Wallace of Illinois; and seven grandchildren, Troy and Cynthia Cosgrove, Daniel and Audrey Cosgrove, Stephen Cosgrove, Bradley and Laura Cosgrove, Sheila Cosgrove, Ryan Jurkas, Amy Jurkas; 3 Great Grandchildren Emily, Nicholas, and Michael. Visiting is 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chappell Funeral Home. services will be Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating. Burial will be in Fennville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Allegan General Hospital.
