Becky L. Ortiz, 50, of New Tazewell, TN, formerly of Fennville, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 1, 2013. Becky was born on December 1, 1962 in St. Johns, the daughter of Harold Krupka and Linda Hardy. Becky was a graduate of Fennville High School; she worked at the former Lifesavers Co. for over 20 years before it closed. She was a kind, loving, and caring person. Becky loved to laugh; she was the life of the party and was always the person who could make you smile. She loved her dogs, was a huge fan of Ellen DeGeneres and cherished being a mom. Becky was a good friend and an even better sister. Becky is loved and survived by her fiancAC.; Don Oisten, her son; Paulino Ortiz III, her sisters; Cindy Krupka (Bill Lamar), Lori (Larry) Babinski, Brenda (Steve) Gort, her father; Harold (Connie) Krupka, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother; Linda Hardy and step father, Bill Hardy. Visitation will be Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 5-7pm at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville. A memorial service will be held Friday at 1pm at the funeral home with Ms. Marcia Tucker officiating. A gathering will be held following the service at Lori and Larry Babinski's house.
