Barry Stephen Harvey, age 67, of Fennville, Michigan passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, June 14, 2015. Born October 22, 1947 in South Haven, Michigan, he was the son of Gerald L. Harvey Sr. and Katherine Alice (Young) Harvey. Barry was a Navy veteran in the Vietnam War, surviving three tours in Vietnam. He retired in March of 2009 from Las Vegas Color in Las Vegas, Nevada. Barry was a very active member of the Fennville Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed shooting and socializing with his many friends, he was also a member of the Allegan Gun Club, Cheshire Hills Golf Course, golfing on several leagues, and a member of the N.R.A., he was also a huge Michigan State Fan. Surviving is his wife Nancy Harvey, daughter Wendy Harvey, step-daughter Laura and Mark Gersonde, grandchildren, Tori and Brook Gersonde, brothers; Carl and Sally Harvey, Gerald Jr. and Sharon Harvey, all of Fennville, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. with a memorial service to start at 5:00 p.m., at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W.
