Barbara Jean Maxwell, age 85 of South Haven, Michigan, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven. She was born in South Haven on August 6, 1927 and was the daughter of Frank and Anna (Johnson) Wheaton. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth "Si" Maxwell on February 18, 1998. She was a homemaker, loved to do cross word puzzles, and lived in the Casco area all of her life. Surviving is her daughter, Barbara and Bud Coulter of South Haven, Michigan, 3 grandsons and 6 great-grandchildren. At her request cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
