Aurelio Sanchez, 87 of Fennville, Michigan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Holland Hospital.  Born June 16, 1935 in Monterrey N.L., Mexico he was the son of the late Sostenes Sanchez and Sanjuana Ortega and was the devoted husband of the late Eva Deleon Sanchez for 66 wonderful years. Aurelio always had to keep himself busy in one way or another, whether it was cutting the grass or poking around at flea markets.  Aurelio was also quite handy and could figure out how to fix just about everything.  He was a wonderful and charming man who had many friends and was never judgmental of others.  Above all, Aurelio was a proud and dedicated family man who will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Juan, Ignacia (predeceased), Sostenes, Refugio, Francisco, Ignacio, Juana, Aurelio Jr., Julio, Eva Maria, Jesus, and Jose; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at which time the Mass of Christian Burial will begin, Rev. Fr. Fabio Garzon celebrant.  Burial will take place in the Fennville City Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
