Arleen Fern Patterson, age 97, of Lansing, Michigan, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Whispering Woods assisted living in Grand Rapids, MI. Born February 20, 1913 in Clinton County, Michigan, she was the daughter of Arthur and Vera (Myer) Gordon. Arleen worked in the office at, Motor Wheel in Lansing, retiring in 1978, and was a member of First Church of Brethren in Lansing, MI. Surviving is her daughter Cheryl and Michael Hennessy of Ada, MI granddaughter Michelle (VanStedum) Turner and Steve Turner of Glenn, grandson Shane Smith, great-granddaughter Corinne VanStedum, brother Arnold Gordon, friends; Dr. Walter and LaVonne Stewart, Don and Beverly Leaf, Anita Buckwalter, and nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the First Church of Brethren, 3020 S. Washington Ave. Lansing, MI 48910. Officiating will be Rev.
