Anthony F. (Tony) Novak, age 84 of Fennville, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Grace of Douglas. Born January 10, 1933 in Cook County, Illinois, he was the son of Anthony and Frances (Pushanea) Novak. Tony was a US Navy veteran, and retired from Bohn Aluminum and Brass, of South Haven, Michigan, as a design engineer. After his retirement he enjoyed being a driver for the Interurban bus serving the Saugatuck Township area. Tony lived in the Fennville/Douglas area for more than 50 years, and enjoyed boating, bowling, and spending time with friends and family. Surviving is his wife of 60 years Mary Lou (Brell) Novak; sons, Michael (and Teresa) Novak and Robert (and Leslie) Novak of Fennville; six grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the All Saint's Episcopal Church 252 Grand St. Saugatuck, Michigan, with Father G. Corwin Stoppel officiating.
