Ann Pendergrass, 76, of Bloomingdale, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, in Kalamazoo. Born in Stille, Mo, she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley, in 1981; a daughter, Jeanette Pendergrass; and a grandson, Arthur Pendergrass Jr. Surviving are her children, Harold and Kris Pendergrass of Pullman, Gary and Peggy Pendergrass of Bloomingdale, Carl Pendergrass of Gobles, Danny and Mary Pendergrass of Fennville, Art and Laura Pendergrass of Pullman, Charlie Pendergrass of Fennville, Marge Kempers of Meridian, Idaho, Cheryl Pendergrass of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, Brenda Pendergrass of Fennville, Janice and Gene Smith of Fennville, and Roxann and Gary Matrau of Bloomingdale; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchidren, and a sister, Wanda Bruce of Crotherville, Mo. Private services are planned. Cremation has taken place at her request. Burial will be in Lee Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Metron of Bloomingdale. Arrangements are by the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville.
