Ana Maria Martinez, 93, of Fennville, MI passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at Holland Hospital. Born March 10, 1927 in Jalisco, Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Fermin and Carman Sigala and was the wife of the late Jesus Martinez. She was a selfless, full of faith, strong, loving woman. So many people adored her. Ana Maria is survived by her children, Francisco (Lupe) Martinez, Rosendo Martinez, Gloria (Albert) Avila, Alfredo (Van Thong) Martinez, Alicia (Joe) Rodriguez, Ana Rosa (Scott) VanDine, Maggie (Doug) Himmelein; two sisters in Mexico and one in California; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Javier Martinez and David Martinez, a brother and two sisters. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staffs of Resthaven Care Center and Holland Hospital for the kind and compassionate care that they provided to Ana Maria. Mass of Catholic Burial will take place on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fennville Cemetery.
