Amelio (Chemo)Gonzales, age 66, of Fennville, died at his home on Sunday, September 5, 2010. Born on January 9, 1944 in Clay, Texas, he was the son of Solomon and Josephine (Vallejos) Gonzales. He worked as a machinist and hi-low driver at Holland Die Cast, Rich Products in Saugatuck, and later retiring from Moneys Foods in Fennville. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Chapel in Fennville. Surviving are his wife Dora Hererra Gonzales, children, Melissa and Ramiro Abel Carreno-Rios of Holland, Jesse Gonzales also of Holland, 2 grandchildren, Amanda and Melina Gonzales three brothers, Frank and Connie Gonzales, his (Twin) Antonio and Cristina Gonzales, Raymond Gonzales, four sisters; Ramona Galvan, Annette and Luis Pena, Isabella and Paul Vasquez and Anita and Tony Olivia all of Fennville, Michigan, and his sister-in-law Irene Gonzales. Preceded in death by one brother Santigo Gonzales. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. with funeral services 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W.
