Alta Lorraine Strong, age 83, of Allegan, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Wings Home in Allegan. Born April 25, 1931 in Allegan, Michigan, she was the daughter of Charles and Mable (Bushee) Case. Alta was a homemaker, and lived in the Allegan area all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Strong in 1995, and two grandchildren. Alta is survived by her children Terry Strong, David Strong, Sally and William Starks, all of Allegan and Clyde and Taffy Strong of Otsego, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, and her brother Don Case of Allegan. Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Friday, June 13, 2014, with visitation starting at 1:30 P.M. at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI, with Wings of Hope Chaplin, Greg Carlson officiating. Burial will be in the Millgrove Cemetery Valley Township.
