Allen David Meeusen, age 64, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Allen is the son of Katherine (Kluck) Jackson, and the late William Donald Meeusen. Allen was well known in the Fennville community for being a master of the agricultural arts. Allen's passion of farming lead him to traveling the world in his studies of agriculture. As an owner of Sunrise Orchards, his passion went much deeper than just growing his produce, he enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor and his wisdom with the community. Not only was Allen a respected farmer, he was also a proud member of the United States military for 20 years, serving two tours. Surviving Allen is his wonderful wife of 28 years, Leslie Weinberg; his two children, Daniel Meeusen and Brian Surrency; sister, Donna Kay Meeusen; sister-in-law, Alma Meeusen; brother-in-laws, Leonard Weinberg, Lawrence Weinberg, Raymond Skeels, Richard Skeels; and best friend, Russ (Kathy) Latchaw. Along with his father, Allen is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Lee Meeusen. A memorial service will be held to honor Allen on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Fennville Methodist Church, 5849 124th Ave, Fennville, MI 49408. The family will be welcoming guest at 12:00 PM (noon), with service beginning at 1:00 PM, with Marcia Tucker officiating the service. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.
