Obituary

Alfredo Mojica Majin, a treasured son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on the 29th of September 2024, in Holland, Michigan. Born on April 18, 1998, to parents Alfredo Mojica-Suazo and Monica Majin-Barona, Alfredo brought joy and warmth into the hearts of everyone he encountered throughout his 26 years of life.

Growing up in Pullman, Alfredo was known for his outgoing and social demeanor, and his friendly approach to life and his humor. He was always fun to be around. Alfredo cherished the time spent with his beloved sisters, Siclali and Ashley Mojica, and their shared moments fostered an unbreakable bond. His spirit was especially bright when around his children, Izreal, Santino, and Amilian, who were the guiding lights of his existence.

Alfredo was an ardent lover of nature and the simple pleasures it offered. He found solace and excitement in casting a line during his fishing excursions and felt at peace during the long drives he often took, where the horizon seemed to meet his dreams. Spending quality time with his children, friends and his late brother, Bryan Mojica, was one of Alfredo's greatest joys. Their companionship and shared experiences will remain a cherished memory for everyone who knew them.

Not only did Alfredo enjoy the tranquility of nature, but he was also an active individual with a passion for sports. The basketball court was another showcase of his camaraderie, where he played with enthusiasm and a team spirit that uplifted all who played alongside him, also enjoying swimming and drawing, he was a great artist. His playful nature was also apparent in his love for shopping, where he took pleasure in finding the perfect items for himself and his loved ones.

Alfredo is preceded in death by his dear brother, Bryan Mojica. Left to honor his memory are his parents, his sisters, his children, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Each of them will carry forward the legacy of Alfredo's kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit. He will be profoundly missed but eternally remembered as a beacon of love in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
