Alda R. Derrow, age 93, of Douglas, Michigan passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at her residence. Born September 2, 1922 in Oil City, PA, she was the daughter of Jay and Bessie (Harriff) Vesco. Alda worked as a secretary for American Steel in Pennsylvania for many years before moving to Michigan with her husband in 2000. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Derrow, son Daniel Derrow, and her parents. Surviving is her son Ronald and Dolores Derrow of Fennville, MI, 5 grandchildren and 4 great Grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made in Alda's name to the charity of one's choice. Visitation will be held at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI 49408 on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 2-4 PM with funeral services starting at 4:00 PM. Alda will be laid to rest in Vinewood Cemetery.
