Allen D. LaShell, age 57, of Fennville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Al was a professional photographer who served many schools in the area. He was also a volunteer for many local organizations. He had received the Paine Volunteerism Award, and the Fennville Chamber of Commerce Robert Hutchinson Citizen Award. His sense of humor and love of the Community and Students from many schools he served will be remembered by many. Al is survived by his wife of 30 years, Colleen Sessions LaShell, son: Matthew of Manassas, Virginia and daughter; Lara of Fennville. He is also survived by his mother Elma "Midge" LaShell; sisters, Linda (Bill) Smith and Lynette Marshall, all of Mecosta, Michigan, and his mother-in-law Margaret Sessions of Fennville, brother and sister in laws, Brian Sessions, Scott Sessions, Steve and Lisa Sessions of Fennville and Ann-Margaret and Michael Schuelke of Dorr; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Fennville High School Morehead Gymnasium, with a time of fellowship following the service in the Cafeteria.
