Agnes Mae Compton, 87, of South Haven, died Thursday evening, October 17, 2013 at Holland Community Hospital. Agnes was born on April 10, 1926 in Ganges Township to Lawrence and Yvonne (Livingston) Tucker. In 1955, she married Richard Compton and together they enjoyed 58 years of marriage. Agnes retired from the Glenn Post Office after working for many years, she loved to read and was a wonderful gardener Agnes is loved and survived by her husband; Richard, her children; Doug Compton, Joanne (William) Sill, Cheryl Sackett, Paulette (Jack) Lawson, her grandchildren; Brent, Richie, Brad, Brian, Ashley and Kelsey as well at 11 great grandchildren. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
