Franklin W. Giles, age 86, of Saugatuck, died Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Grace of Douglas. Born October 8, 1923, in Leachville, Arkansas, he was the son of Leonard and Iva (Jolliff) Giles. Frank was a tool and die marker, retiring from Holland Hitch, he was a member of the Fennville Masonic Lodge, and served in the Civilian Conservation Corp. Surviving are his children; Jackie and Mary Giles of Fennville, Tommie and Connie Giles of Fennville, and Sherry Miller of Tennessee, grandchildren; Tim and Laura Giles, Larisa and Tim Clouse, Aaron and Lisa Giles, Annde and Jason McDonnough, Katy Heth, Jason and Angie Heth, great-grandchildren; Christopher Giles, Ryan Giles, Alyson Backus, Colin Giles, Mason McDonnough, Gavin McDonnough, Samantha Giles, April Heth, Susan Heth, Jason Heth Jr., Jacob Heth, Autumn Heth, and Hope Heth, brothers Chuck and Max Giles, and sisters Lovie Hester, Norma Bowland, and Betty Nuendorf. Visitation will be Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 6-8 p.m., and funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Chappell Funeral Home, Fennville, MI, with Ms Marcia Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Saugatuck, MI.
