Christopher Lee Easterly 39 Chris Easterly passed away Aug. 12, 2012 from injuries following a motorcycle accident. Born May 31, 1973 in Douglas, Michigan he lived his entire life in Fennville, Michigan and graduated from Fennville High School. Chris is survived by his children Kristina and Nathan Easterly, step children Mathew and Kevin Valkema and their mother Tisha Easterly of Fennville. Parents Leon and Valerie Easterly of Holland, Michigan and Diana and Jim Merleau of Fennville, Michigan. Sisters Amy Easterly and children Alexis, Kayla and Aiden of Fennville and Katie Easterly of Fennville. Brothers Steve Merleau and children Ricky and Hunter , Jimmie Merleau of Fennville and sister Stacey Merleau and children Callie, Cecilia and Ciara of Fennville. Step sister Pam and Tommy De Vries and children Tyler, Allie and Madison and Step brother Jeff and Renee Cross and children Owen and Avery Cross of Holland, Michigan. Grandmother Karen Fazer and grandfather John Marchant, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Chris was preceded in death by his Grandfather Chuck Fazer and Grandmothers Ellen Marchant and Helen Sheets. Chris loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing , riding horses and spending time with his children. Chris was a cowboy at heart. Chris was employed at Genzink Steel as a welder.
